Whether it’s a challenge your product solves, a highlighted feature or even just tone of voice, any inconsistency in messaging within these steps will confuse customers and hurt your results. This includes researching technology requirements, liaising with speakers on how to reinvent networking opportunities and promoting new virtual events to potential attendees. Many different people from different teams must work together to stay productive during the transition to remote work. Prioritize competition over teamwork A healthy sense of competition is good for an organization and encourages employees to perform at their best. Yet a siled mentality means people are more interested in beating other teams within the organization even if it means the business will suffer. Silos lead to an us-versus-them culture where departments take pleasure in the failure of others. Rather than rewarding individual performance and pitting teams against each other, prioritize teamwork and collaboration. Goals and KPIs As well as being a way to measure performance you can also use goals and key performance indicators to encourage specific actions.
